Bank Won;t Give me a Mortgage Because I am Self-Employed

Bank Won’t Give me a Mortgage Because I am Self Employed

I need help, I am having trouble getting a mortgage because I am self employed and the banks have rejected me as well because of this. Is there any way I can still get a mortgage if I am self employed?

What are some of the steps I need to take to qualify and get approved?

Thank you.

Hi there and thank you for reaching out to the canadalend team with your inquiry.

If the bank does not want to give you a mortgage because you are self employed,You can still get a mortgage through a private lender!

Most private lenders do not need income verification and will approve an individual who is self-employed, keep in mind however that the interest rates and fees will be higher than a traditional way of getting a mortgage.
